    I know what you mean. I shop thrift stores for shirts and have had people give me weird looks when I tell them I'm going to cut them up to make quilts. Once a lady said that a certain shirt was too pretty to cut up. What!! It's from a thrift store already. I have kept a couple for myself though.

    When the men I know are in doubt about quilting .... I tell them it is fextremely fine woodworking only using fabric ... and is easier to store and us, comes in a variety of styles and sizes, and is fun. Somehow they 'get it.'
