I would ask her the easiest way to get your hands and machine to cooperate so I can get the smooth, beautiful quilting motifs she gets!! Even after TONS of practice I cannot get even looking motifs. I have never been able to draw anything....that's probably the reason.

My current question would be about fabric tension when loading a quilt. I can't seem to get it right, either too loose or too tight which leaves a mess on the back of my quilts. sigh...

Of course tomorrow I might have a different question!

I have met her several times. She has been to my guild to teach a class. I've met her in Paducah at the quilt show. She is always super nice and will show you how to do the free hand feathers or watch you do them on her machine. She is in her DD's vendor booth Purple Daisies at the quilt shows. All her quilting tools and patterns are sold through Purple Daisies.

Wouldn't that be awesome. I only live a few hours away from Payson and would be willing to go back to my own house every day.

I'm so jealous. I am so close yet so far away from her. I made the pressing board that she did a video on how to make. I actually have 2 of them. I have a medium sized one near my sewing machine and then a larger one that I can set up on a small folding table for larger fabric pieces. It has made so much difference since I made them and stopped using the ironing board...lol

Have you tried talking to a long arm quilter in your area for advice? There may be someone that work out of one of your LQS.
