How about one that had a built in safety guard? I read about so many the have nipped of their finger tips, and have resorted to buying those suction cup things.

Does your friend take custom orders? If so, how do I get in touch with your friend? My mom has this new idea for a binding ruler, and is having trouble finding someone who will make a reasonably small number of them.

I would like a ruler for marking HSTs that is 3/8" rather than 1/2" to allow for pencil marks and thread width.
