My choice, should I win the lottery, would be to purchase an art quilt from Melinda Bula ---- and attend Empty Spools Seminar!

Here I am thinking ahead a quilt or so to the one I will make just for myself to use on my bed and find that there are so many patterns and blocks and I love so many of them. Thought about one of those sampler ones but do not think that will do it for me. So I thought all of you great talented, experiened quilters might give me some feedback that will finally help me decide.

I love this board but takes a lot of time some days to read all the great stuff.
Those would be very hard questions to answer! I have favorite colors but not necessarily what I want to do in a quilt. I also have favorite patterns but that changes on a daily basis! Depends on the book or website I'm looking at! :) Don't think I could narrow it down!

A Hawaiian Quilt 120x120. I have one on my bed now and I am sick of it. Made it in 1985. I need a new one. I am just afraid that I can't appliqué any more after my surgery. Jan

Well, I would have to hang up my rotary cutter and rulers and stop quilting, because I've made that one special quilt that I absolutely love and will cherish forever, before I turned 41. Everything else is just bonus now, and that is why I feel so blessed.

You could make 2, one for summer and one for winter and then add one for spring and fall as you buy more cat fabric  Never get bored then!

JUST ONE? no way...but if I had too it would probably be Grandmothers Flower Garden....only because it has always reminded me of my Grandmother who taught me to love gardening. Its not my favorite pattern but my favorite memory...someday I want to make an all red/white Triple Irish Chain..not my fav either but I saw one in a movie once and loved it...Trip Around The World is one of my favorite pattern but again not completely my final choice..Heck I have to have more than one favorite..one is not enough
