I think I would spend the day with Elanor Burns because she quilts with a sense of humor, which I love and she has created lots of short cuts over the years and loves what she does. If she were not available, I would pick Mary Ellen Hopkins for the same reasons.

Gee based on the answers so far, I'm torn. How about a week with all of them!

Leah Day. She has such an easy-going approach to quilting and she breaks the process down. I would want to catch some of her zest for life and quilting.

Elly Sienkiewicz! As a new convert to applique, I would love to spend a day with her. She is an amazing lady!

I like spending the day with my friends. They always teach me something new and on occasion i have been able to share my learning with them.. I have taken lots of classes with quilters such as karen mctavish and deloa jones and many others. A one on one with them wouldn't be so bad.

My Grandmother. We lived with my grandparents and after school I liked to sit with her and watch her quilt and talk. She showed me how to hand quilt, and I helped her put quilt tops into a frame. I was 14. I'm 75 now, and wish I could share quilting with her again.
