I would like to work with my Grandmother. I was told that she would hold a quilting bee and after the ladies left, if the quilting was not good, she would undo the stitches and redo it. I wish I had the patiences to want perfection in my quilting. (I think she would be taking my stitches out.)

I would love to spend a day with someone who is comfortable with fmq and working with someone (me) who is not. I would bring my sewing machine and quilt to her and let her show me the rights and wrongs of this craft! A real dream come true!

If I could have my mom back for one day, that's who I'd pick. She was always convinced I could do anything and she was able to convince me I could as well.

Second choice would be between Liuxin Newman, Jinny Beyer and Sharon Schamber.

Kim Brunner. She does beautiful work and enjoys fostering the love of quilting in others. Her dvd's are very informative and good humored. I would love to take a class from her some day.
