I am currently facinated with Paula Nadelsterns Kaleidoscope Quilts , and would love to spend a day "seeing" what she "see's" in fabrics.
A gal from church who is our best quilter.

My darling Grandmother. As a kid I used to sit & listen to her & her Bee Members chat while they quilted away the day. She could always make something beautiful out of nothing. She passed in '89 at the age of 101.Sadly she had to stop quilting & sewing when she was 75.

Ooooh, that's a hard one to answer. I think I might like just a day to myself, to sew uninterrupted. I do love Paula Nadelsterns work, though. My daughter does not sew very often, even though I tried to get her interested. She lives in NYC, last year there was an exhibit of Paula's quilts somewhere close, so I insisted DD go to see it, since I could not fly up at the time. She called from the exhibit and was amazed by the work, color, and patterns. I wish I could have at least attended with her.

Here I stumble across this thread and my name is mentioned as a person of interest? That is pretty AMAZING to me! I thank all of you who think I have any valuable information to pass on. I am flattered truly!

I think, I am just a plain ole housewife that happens to quilt.

So truly from the bottom of my heart I feel blessed.
If any of you are in the area..please connect with me.

As far as who I would spend a day with...if it centers around quilting?? and not Spiritual...cause it would have to be Jesus otherwise...
I love Amy Butler, Kaffe, Valerie wells, Karen Mctavish, and and teh girls at Material Obsession in Australia...I love their books...style... and I follow their blog. Yes a nice vacation down under at "Material Obsession" is on my wish/Dream list!

Ricky Tims. I think his style and attitude toward quilting is right up my alley.
