and have to sew in the living room, I'd love to see some pics for ideas? My fabric is stored in totes under my beds and I have a tall hall table with my sewing machine on it along with my thread drawers in my living room. I cut out on my table which is also in my living room since I only have a galley kitchen, I've run out of space and hardly any closets. I did buy a over the toilet shelf for my towels and cleaned out most of my linen closet for other things related to sewing, but..........oh my this new place is small, but its a senior retirement village and I do love that! Final move in day tomorrow instead of living in two places. So I'd love to see your photo's please? I did a search and saw all of your sewing rooms and they are lovely, I had one too but............. lol I'm still happy, just need room.
Oh I have my cutting boards under my sofa and my rulers and rotary cutters, scissors etc in my hall table drawer which is just big enough.

Don't know what your budget is like...but this company has a sewing armoire that folds up.

I have also seen a taller armoire on this site. Will see if I can locate.

I just purchased this cabinet, it will hold both my sewing machine and my serger and miscellaneous supplies. I have my fabric in under-the-bed storage too, I have plastic storage in the closet in the front bedroom and I stack my cutting mats behind the plastic storage. I have my cutting tools and miscellaneous stuff in a sewing basket.

Got it from Walmart, it's on sale now, they shipped it for free to the one closest to me

I have this table also and it is perfect. My sewing machine sits on top and my serger and my simplicity rotary cutting machine sits inside. I love how the one side goes up and down. I have a room that is 10 X 9 and it has a fold down cutting table and 4 - 5 shelf book cases and an ironing board in it. It is tight on space too but I manage!!!!

I also found that if you take one of the shelves out on the right, the serger fits right in so you can store your machine in the cabinet too if you want to.
