If you had $100 what would you buy?

Happy Birthday. My birthday was yesterday and my daughter gave me $100.00 and took me to Hobby Lobby. (I don't have LQS or anything where I live). I don't have the stash everyone else has, so I spent my money on fabric. I have three pattern/ideas I want to do so I bought all the fabric I need for those and the matching thread, plus I bought an 8x8 photo album and extra photo pages (50% off) for pictures of my quilts that I have saved in my computer and some cross stitch stuff. It was nice to just go in a get what I wanted and not think about my 'budget.' When it's MY money I try to go on the cheap and buy on sale/clearance only type stuff. Since this was like "free" money I bought exactly what I liked and was happy to find out it was 30% off. Now I just need to finish the two quilt tops I have started before I get into the new stuff.....but I like to 'pet' my fabric and spread it out and look at it. Have fun shopping!

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes! I ended up placing an order at Fabric.com for fabric and the Fons and Porter rag scissors. I also got 15% off with a coupon! Hubby isn't going to be pleased when he sees that I ordered 11 yards of fabric!

Why would he care? It wasn't his birthday money to spend. Enjoy your gifts guilt free.

First off I'd buy a bolt of 120" muslin for backing! (with my 40% off coupon) Then templates and little things that are too overpriced for me to justify buying. If I could only buy sewing material. Shoes would be my #1 must have!

Fabric of course. Check out fatquartershop.com They have sale fabric posted at all times, from 20% -50% off.
I would check out the quilt projects you have on your to-do list. Then buy fabrics for those projects. Have fun.
