    You're on the right track. I would find a pattern that would use a wide range of those colors from light to dark. It will blend into a neutral setting better. maybe with a small pop of any rich color like wine or eggplant. I have always liked the log cabin or Hunters star for multi-colored quilts. The HS would be great in three colors and the LC in as many light and dark neutrals as you can collect. Have fun and keep us posted! :thumbup:

    I wouldn't go with brown or black. I'd stick to creams, beige, white, off white. Wouldn't bring any color into it at all. That's just my 2 cents worth!

    Your quilt is beautiful. The pattern with the colors you chose are unique. When people ask for a neutral quilt, it's challenging because they frequently don't know how to correctly make choices of color in a quilt. Yours has enough color to be eye pleasing yet not color specific. Great job!

    SOft colors, primarily tone on tone. Nothing too contrasty - something earthy.
