OK girls, since we are talking about removal of stain, especially bloody ones, does anyone have a sure cure for ball point ink? No, not on a quilt, but I dropped my pen and it slid down the front of a suede cloth jacket. It is washable but I need to know what to put on it before I wash it. I used to hear that hair spray would take it out, but was it only one brand that works? Help, please???

Thanks Bebe! I get poked so often but I've been lucky so far with no blood on the fabric. I figure as often as I get pricked my luck's about to run out soon.

I have been told DON'T DO ANYTHING TO IT...take it directly to a dry cleaner.. of course, probably whoever told me that was related to a dry cleaner

I had a possum latch on to my finger once, didn't matter how hard I shook him he wouldn't let go.
Don't ask. I thought he was really cute up to that stage too. Yes it was sweet that he was taking food out of my hand.
    End of story.

or, if a wild cat from the woods clamps on your forarm, run to your car, shake it into the car trunk and rush to have it tested for rabies ! This I saw on Television this past week !

Sorry, this thread (post) just is so broad.. I am having too much fun.

I was taught about the spit too.

Ok, I have a wild cat clamped onto my forearm.....HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???? lol And I'm going to shake it into the trunk of my car? I have a van...no trunk!!! Can I tie it onto the front of the van like a deer hunter? lol
Technically, all that is sent for rabies testing is the head of the dead animal, so if you have a pocket knife...
