Maybe give it to your quilting fairy?! LOL! Just kidding, I just read another thread about which job you would give if you had a quilting fairy! I'm sure we've all been there, done that. I have donated several tops finished and unfinished and I don't feel bad about it. Only you can decide whether you are gonna bite the bullet and be determined to complete it, ........or not. So far, I think it is and will be a very pretty quilt!

I think it is beautiful. But, I know the feeling. I just pieced one that I simply did not like my color choices. But my DDIL loved it, so I will quilt it for her and I'm glad to know it's going to a good home and that it's not going to waste. But I sure don't like it and had a terrible time making myself finish it.

I really love your quilt top.
Remember how it is quilted and with what color of thread[s] can also make a really big difference.
My LA group was given a charity quilt to finish. It was low contrast and close to being ugly. One of the quilters took it and livened it up using different colors of quilting thread and highlights. We loved it after she had finished the quilting.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I have 2 laps and a twin ready to quilt. I think I'm going to set up the smaller machine for piecing the SAS and leave the big one set up for quilting. That way I can switch back and forth. I finished cutting out the white for the teal rows so I'll just piece a little, quilt a little, piece a little, quilt a little cheep! cheep! cheep! piece a little more! (From The Music Man for those who think I've completely lost it by now. Maybe I have.)
