I'm cured!!!!!!

I'm not "cured" yet after 30+ years! Small pieces, like McKenna Ryan's patterns? Blow Them Up! Big enough to satin stitch anyway! Paper pieced pattern? Stained glass pattern? Wood carving pattern? Embroidery patter?? Make them into applique!! Got some horses to finish today and decide if it will be a hanging or need more horses for a bed quilt.

I also do not like applique; tried it 3 times last year and the first project was the only one that was even half way acceptable. Have the other 2 UFO's that I'll try to finish up (sort of) this month. However, I love love PP.

I had a lovely lady at a quilt show give me a 20 min. needleturn lesson several years ago. It helped. I have designed all my own applique quilts. I think it helped me keep away from too ambitious a project to start with.
Applique SHOULD be relaxing, something you can do in a quiet moment to yourself. Maybe you started on the wrong project.
