I know just how you feel. I got the Gracie full size frame a couple of years ago and I LOVE it. I have a Janome 6000 machine with it. The frame is great. Beautiful wood and very sturdy. I put mine together with the help of a friend. It took a full day but helped to show me how the frame works with the machine. Have fun and don't be intimidated by it. It takes time to get the feel and flow so practice, practice, practice.

Congratulations on your new machine! Almost all of the quilting ladies I sew with have a Pfaff, not one complaint about them. Good luck practicing, can't wait to see your work!

    congratulations!
when i was practicing i used two white sheets with batting in between them, then I used that for a mattress pad.
    only a suggestion.

I'll be getting the Pfaff 1200 Grand Quilter with the Gracie Frame. If I decide I don't like it, they'll take it back! (yeah, right!) I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!!! They'll bring it over, put it up, and train me over a 2 day period. All I have to do is cook meals!!!

Anyone here have that set-up? How do you like it??
Amandasgramma: I'm jealous! What a great bargain and having a friend who can help you out anytime you get stuck is a huge part of that bargain. Good for you.
