for free!
My cousin (who's more like my brother) is tearing down this old house for this man, and its full of "junk" as he said. The man asked my cousin if he'd haul the junk out also, and guess what's in there?
An old treadle machine! He just called me, I haven't seen it yet but he's bringing it tomorrow. He said it seems to work fine, and looks good!
Its a Singer and its black, lol, thats all I know! I can't wait to get it, it will be a nice addition to my home, no matter which one it is ,don't you think?

I'm so excited, I tried to talk him into bringing it tonight, LOL, and he won't.
I'm looking around the house for a spot for it, LOL.
I think I will go up there tomorrow, and see what else is in there. I know he said there was an old ringer type washing machine, but he's going to sell it to someone he knows.
Evidently, the house has been just sitting there for many years. The old man who lived in it died, and his closest family was in Michigan (we are in Ky.) and it's finally got passed down to someone who wants to do something with the land.
My cousin said it looked like someone lived there, and they just disappeared, its sad, really. There's clothes in the closet and everything. I just wonder if the woman (or man) who owned this machine loved it once and sewed on it ever dreamed it would end up like that, sitting there all alone for so many years gathering dust.
