Depending on how long ago you purchased your machine, is there any chance you could return it? Wal-Mart has a great return policy.

Watch your local newspaper. Sometimes people sell them real cheap or how about going to garage/yard sales. good luck.
:( :( I bought my BROTHER at Walmart. I love it. Its so easy to use and runs fantastic.

do you have a church run resale shop? If you ask they may donate one to you. We have a shop that has given me machines for our guild/run quilting class at the school. If they run they try and sell them but usually just junk them...you may find a treasure. Give it a try, you need to ask for help....

    Hi,
We have also had times with no machines, see if you can swap with a friend that has one..always something to give.
maybe just mark some plain color fabric and practice your quilty stitches???
    :)
