That sounds like so much fun. I love your jelly roll fabrics. The stripe one is wonderful.

You're right... sleep is SOOOOO over-rated! LOL

As hubby likes to put it... "sleep is for wimps!"

After getting to bed at 1am, I was up at 7am... managed to sneak in an hour of sewing before having to go and do "stuff".

Now hubby is on dinner duty, and the guests have all gone, and the house is quiet... I'm going back to my sewing room! :-)

I have all the blocks together in their rows (there's only six rows) and all the sashing strips are joined. So I simply have to put the rows together and call it done!

I promise you'll have photos within 2 hours.... mind you, it's early evening now so the colour might not be great. But you'll get the idea. :-)

I have to stay up 2 more hours for pictures? Like you couldn't have told your guest you had a couple of dozen crabby women around the world waiting for you to sew a quilt. Surely, they would understand. :D

It was actually my mum, and step-dad, down from the other end of the country for the weekend, so it would have been a little rude to go and sew! LOL

I have two rows together, it's looking awesome, you should see it! LMAO ;-)
