My favourite quilt store is having a class tonight, called a Night-Owl-Hoot. We all arrive at 6pm, get served dinner, then sew till we can't stand it any more! Sounds like heaven! :-)

Tonight's one is for jelly rolls... I've had a gorgeous bright one sitting in my stash for a looooong time. It's all cut up and ready to go... apparently they usually get a whole quilt top pieced in one night.

The plain colours are for the blocks, the stripe is for the sashing, and the purple on the bottom is the border.

    lol

I've seen another lady's fabric selection, and it's very country and subdued. The instructor reckons she's going to stick me in a corner and I can provide my own illumination! LOL

The pattern is already chosen... they're doing a snowball type block. It's not particularly appealing to me, or challenging, but I know several of the ladies going tonight and it will be a LOT of fun. And I had the jelly roll sitting there, gotta do something with it. A night of laughing, sewing, and good food is just what I need. :D

Depending on how tired I am when I get home... I'll post pics tonight. But more likely it will be this time tomorrow. ;-)

They usually finish up around midnight, which is about when we go to bed anyway, so I'm hoping I'll last till the end!
