We didnt get the strawberry cake though I wanted to. At the quilt show, we got these brat and home made potato chips that were so big we were stuffed and could not eat the cake.

However, I made my GF go to Culvers twice plus we went to Patti's one day (in the rain) and had chocolate pecan pie with ice cream. Wow does that place have great food!! A steak sandwich there was to die for.

I was lucky that I came home only one pound heavier than I left.

I got SOOO many nice things. They are strewn across my living room right now. I will take pics tomorrow.

I picked up about 3-4 yards of remnant batiks at Hancocks. I was disappointed that they had minimum half yard cuts on all their regular priced batiks. I had one pattern that called for 12 FQ and another that called for 20 quarters. One was plums and greens and the other brights. I planned and planned to pick up all that fabric at Hancock's but I wasnt going to buy halves at 9.98 a yard. (Remember Im the no stash girl!) I bought fabric at the show instead.

Oh my gosh, I am rolling on the floor laughing at you. I know it wasn't funny at the time but I can just pix you two little 5'2" women going through this predicament. Thanks for telling us of your adventure.
