Went to an Estate Sale on Saturday. Deceased lady was member of numerous local Quilt Guilds. My friend and I SCORED.... Got lots of fabric, cutters, books, patterns some fake plants, etc. Went back SUNDAY (1/2 price day) bot the rest of the fabric, more books, another plant for patio and a HUGE Christmas wreath. I have been washing and ironing for 3 days now... The largest piece is 7 yards on down to NEW fat quarters. (and some I didn't even count in the yardage cause weird shapes) Most of the fabric had not been cut in to. Now the GOOD NEWS! I spent about $60.00 for the 2 day spree and have over 80 yards of GOOD BRAND NAME NEW fabric..... And ALL lovely colors and patterns. OH MY ! Talk about Christmas.... I was always in AWE of everybodies yard sale "finds" on the board. Patience my friends, YOUR turn will come when you least expect it...... HAPPY QUILTING !!!!!

I've gotten some next to new lovely fabrics at sales------------the the fabrics are sheets, duvet covers, curtains, that folks have apparently decided they really didnt' like after all. this is the major reason I love my seam ripper so!

Way to go!!!! Isn't it more fun than walking thru a fabric store? Bless the lady that collected it all and bless you for giving it all a good home. I'm sure she would be happy that it went to someone that will treasure it. Now go make something beautiful...
