Okay, that is neat and now I'm convinced I have to try it.

Since I received my Pfaff from my MIL and haven't taken classes, there is a lot that I haven't tried yet. I just came across a DVD that takes you through the lessons you would get from a dealer and I ordered it! I got some free embroidery designs because my purchase was over $30, too. The site is called Secrets of Embroidery. Does anyone else use that site? I thought it was very informative and had neat designs, info and tutorials, although the tutorials are mostly for sale.

Now I'm so excited it will be a while before I settle down and go to bed!
I've not been to that site, I will definitely check it out! I usually browse a site called Embroidery Library, lots of times they'll have individual designs for $1. Here is the link: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/default.aspx

Oh yes, thin batting! I usually use low-loft for most things anyways.
