I purchased on sale at TSC the magnetic dishes --they have one large and 2 small. they are right next to my machine with all my seam ripper, scissors, pins , needles, whatever in each dish. they stick to the screws in my cabinet so they aren't going to walk away. Have to put my NEW good scissors in the drawer because hubby sometimes wants to cut PAPER with it. NO NO NO NO WHAT PART OF NO DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND??? My scissors are not for paper --go get your cheapy out of the drawer in the kitchen.

I have a friend that spent the better part of his morning looking for his favorite gray socks...he found one of them in his drawer. He turned his place upside down, but NO second sock. Finally gave up, sat down in his recliner, raised his feet up, and found his second sock...ON HIS FOOT!!!
    Just laugh and move on!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does things like that.

Bwahahaha.... glad to know I'm not the only one!! Y'know, my DH always says whatever I'm looking for will be in the last place I look. I hate it when he's right!

I joined the "scary club" long ago and because of it, I spend a goodly portion of my time on what I call "My Treasure Hunts". No wonder I don't have time to quilt.

And you're not tellin, are you? I just got a new 1/4" foot 'cause I thought my oldest daughter who packed up my sewing room when I wasn't looking had brushed it into the little trash bag I keep taped to the end of the sewing table, and then tossed the bag. Exactly one day after I got the new foot, I went to place it in it's slot in the pill holder that I keep my feet in, and guess what I found. Now, I swear I looked in there three times at least. What I thought I was looking at, I have no idea.
