You know, as I read posts about quilters' "finds" I always think of the person who purchased and cut and pieced the fabric....probably deceased now. How sad that someone's dream ends up marked down to $1. I'd so hate it if my UFOs or stash ends up in a yard sale or at Goodwill for $1. Although I am not religious, I feel like all of us ought to say a silent prayer for all the lovely women who went before us, dreaming their quilting dreams. And how sweet is it that we find and complete those dreams for the ones who no longer can. Do her proud and finish her quilt for her.
