I send a PM to myself with my lists of things I need to do/want to do:)
    like:
    mail out squishies on Tuesday
bind Sunday night quilt by Friday
buy 5 pillows and queen sheets

I'm hoping it'll work to get me more orderly

LOL! I'll be needing 2 of those and 5 of those, oh and I've got to have some of that! Of course I really want some of this...

In all seriousiness, good for you babeegirl, I've found that a stickie note or two really helps me remember. Now if only the glue was a tiny bit stronger.

I make a list every day for work. Some days it has 9 things on it. I don't leave until they are all done. I get home after 7 a lot. :( But I get things done.

At home, I have a "list"- I lined up the patterns of the things I have to do for Christmas, in order of importance. I have 3 things to do. I will do a table runner tomorrow night and this week end I will do my tree skirt. Then a tote bag for son's girl friend. For UFOs- only have to sandwich and bind a quilt for my godchild and 1 for hubby- I like to do this early on Saturday morning- when I can open the blinds and take over the living room floor.

Then, if I have time, I might make a table runner for myself and some placemats. Made 4 for FDIL and they turned out really nice!

I especially like marking off the things on the list! My favorite part.

I tried sticky notes and notepads. All I end up with is a purse full of scraps I can't make sense out of. I can't see my home email at work so that's useless. I also use Notepad at home to make myself lists and save it to the desktop. The PM's are for when I think of something at work I need to do at home. I'm not gadget minded so one of those hand held device thingies is useless to me :)

Since I pretty much LIVE in jeans, I write lists & put 'em in my pocket. That works for me! (And I do empty my pockets out before they go in the wash too  ) I actually have a several-day-old grocery list in my pocket right now that has been in a few pockets! Just haven't had a chance to get to the store! lol

I marked another thing off of my PM list:) I cleaned closets last night. I found fabric too! a UFO that I started 2 years ago and completely forgot! I will post pics of the block when I get home tonight. Finding stuff like that is like going shopping all over again!

I can't tell you how may times I have pulled very clean lists out of the washer. I hate carrying a purse so I tend to put everything I can into my pockets. I am pretty good about getting the lipstick and chap stick out before they get washed!!!

I keep two lists on my dishwwasher. One for the grocery store and one of things I need to do and the day they need to be done. Works for me. Right now I am just finishing up projects for Christmas. I do have a list I put on the January calender of things i want to do after the holidays. Sorta reminder. Marge
