Guess what??? I'm so excited! Judy Martin is coming to speak at the grand opening of the new conference room at the LQS that has a retreat center May 7th. AND Carol Doak is going to be there June 6 & 7th! Is this wonderful or what???? I think I'm going to go to the Judy Martin day but I'll be in Texas during the time that Carol Doak is here. If anyone is close by, it's in Danville, Illinois at Threads of Time Fabric store.

Well, they do have a retreat center with beds, bathrooms, showers, sewing tables, design walls, comfy chairs, cutting tables, pressing boards, irons, and a doorway to the quilt shop so. . . . . . what's the problem? :D

The Judy Martin engagement is just for a one evening trunk show and it's only $20.
Carol Doak is for a two day thing, you can sign up for one or both days but it's a lot more expensive.
If anyone is interested and wants to reserve their spot just call 217-431-9202
I've already reserved my seat for Judy Martin.

Call them and book an overnight stay. Bop down to 74W and take it to Danville Il. Bowman Ave. exit. Go South on Bowman to the stop, turn right. Follow that road on around the curve and you're on Buchanan, a couple more blocks and it's on your right. There's a great big old fashioned clock outside.

Carol Doak is very funny. She has a hysterical story about her and a friend on a shopping trip. I can't remember all of it, but we were all in stitches!
