    You were more fortunate than I was! I took a quilt top to a LAQ who told me to go take a course on beginning quilting! I have made about 20 quilts and had hand quilted them...I was really proud of my work. He didn't like that I was backing the quilt with unbleached muslin, should have stitched squares on the machine rather than by hand, etc.

    LOL!! That sounds like my 7 teenage grandchildren! I hope you didn't lose a lot of good pics when the waiter lost your camera. I bought a throw away cam when I first decided to try quilting and kept forgetting about taking pics. Finally I threw it away because it I was afraid it the film would be bad by then and it would be a waste to have it developed....

    I am pick out a digital camera from Amazon and I'm determined to learn to use it.

    Again, thank you everyone for all the encouragement, inspiration, and welcoming sentiments you have sent my way. And thanks also for all the LOL moments I have since finding this board. Not only are you talented, you have a terrific sense of humor!
