I have used Happy Crafter's in Osawatomie Kansas for many years. I've sent them over a dozen quilts. I visited their store last Summer. The prices are wonderful and the results are quite professional. I will send a top and tell them which quilt design from the website. I've had them use both cotton and polyester batting. I ask them to choose the backing and binding fabrics. They have matched it far better than I could. I have them finish it by hand binding it. I am always thrilled at the quality and the low price. I mail my tops all the way from Texas. With postage, it is still worth it!

I have never mailed a quilt. Any suggestions for packaging it to keep it safe?

I also used Happy Crafters but just once, I just put everything in a box and shipped it off. I did insure the box but that's about all I did! I sent them 2 tops which they had the perfect design for and my batting and backing fabric. Originally I was not going to have them bind the quilt but needed them to do it after all, I have to say that although that's the one thing I hate to do I wouldn't have them do that part again. I was just not happy with the way it was done otherwise I was very happy with the service! Oh and BTW the one top I had started to FMQ and my machine got sick and God bless them they took the stitches out for me as well for a charge of course. But they didn't take the time to clear off the loose threads?
