DJ, if that machine has never been used I'd be scooping it up if I could! Go for it. Check out what the price of a new one would cost you.
I looked around some....most of the prices I found were around the $1300 mark. The only thing I would hesitate for the craigslist deal would be warranty....does it still have one? Good luck!!!!!

I am GREEN with envy (not food poisoning). I took my sewing machine in for repair yesterday and I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
    Did someone say Craig's List?

Craig's list is a website that is divided into regions, you can sell or give things away on it.

    My baby is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to play with it for a little bit last night as Mum and I had plans to go out to a craft fair. We played with it til 1am last night! I had to teach a class this morning. I put on another design while teaching. I'll play more with it later this afternoon.

I woke up this morning with the feeling of a tight and congested chest. I'm going to have some lunch then lie down for a couple hours.. THEN I plan to play more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I"ll post photos here later tonight when I do a few more pieces out!!!

    Stay tuned!

congratulations, i hope this machine is everything you were looking for. I don't have an embroidery machine either, but have decided to put it on a wish list for the future.

Oh my! Sounds like Swine Flu. You MUST stay home a few days, so you don't infect anyone

I know JUST how you feel. I was soooooo happy but I admit, very scared. I just knew I was going to foul something up. I didn't and several years later, couldn't be happier with my beautiful Benina gem.
