WOW!!! What a wonderful surprise!! I'd make that SO a DH quickly!!! Keep him around!!

If only my DH could be so generous and thoughtful. He checks every receipt when we spend even a $1 just to make sure we weren't overcharged, forget about spending a boatload of $$ on a sewing machine that won't give a 'ROI' in cash, rather than beautiful hand-made quilts. I've told him I'd like a Sweet 16 or a Babylock Tiara and he goes into 'justifying' the expense by going into business selling the quilts to pay for the machine.

Enjoy your new sewing machine and give that SO a big smooch!!! He's definitely a sweetie!!
