If you do it once, that's making a mistake.
If you do it twice, you're a slow learner.
If you do the same thing a third time, then you can call yourself an idiot!

you do get so mad at yourself..like the other day I was ironing fusible to fabric and laughingly said to my husband "last time I did this I ironed the fusible to the iron so I better pay attention this time" you guessed it the first thing I did was iron it to the iron as it was upside down..aaarrghhhh...my husband just rolled his eyes and laughed!

Uh-oh! Just FYI, freezer paper is only one type of butcher paper. You can also buy butcher paper that is not waxed, so maybe look for that next time?

Yep, but did you iron the fusable because it was wrinkled??Guess who did!! Hmmm not clever, not funny at the time, but absolutely hilarious now.
I'm also betting you won't do it again.

Ouch. I'm so sorry. I'm glad that you didn't have to start completely from scratch again.

It took another two hours to retrace what I had drawn and then copying that side to the other side. I'm going to make it my mission not to make the mistake of ironing it when its folded in half if wrinkles need to be ironed out. I hated having to do it. Its been super hot in my room lately because of the heat and we didn't have the air conditioning on because a bearing was rattling in there. Putting on a light box does not help this.

If I hadn't made that dumb mistake it would have taken me about another hour to get the right side of the image done. Takes hours to get one half of the template done because the image came out pixely when enlarged so it takes some time to figure out how wide the leading has to be, tracing it, and making sure the widths are even. But once that half is done I can fold it in half and copy it to the other side and its a breeze.

Funny how a mistake seems so obvious once its made. I think as soon as I tried to pull the paper apart I was like "Ooooooh riiiiiight. Melty sides were together"
