    Lynda, it's always a question, where to start. Some authors suggest sewing scraps together and adding them to other constructed pieces.

    Here's one of a series starting with 9P.

    This thread couldn't have come at a better time, our Guild has an Improv mini quilt challenge. We are not allowed to use a pattern, but it can be crazy quilted, appliqué or pieced, or whatever combo you want. It can't be any larger than 15x15

    That sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy the process. Which is what improv is all about (for me).

    We have a Challenge for our next Qyuilt Show to make a 15x15 Improv Quilt Block. Here is what I came up with.
