    Default Inexpensive ironing pad

I picked up one of those inexpensive padded dish drying mats at walmart at the first of the summer to use to put my jellies and jams that I made on to cool. It also makes an inexpensive handy ironing mat for those small projects and blocks. Just thought I would pass it along.

They are great for the bottom of a box or bin for storing breakables. I have the large size in the bottom of my Christmas ornament bin.

I just use a towel doubled up on the counter to iron on. What could be quicker than that?

Be really careful with those. If they are the poly 'micro fiber' stuff they can melt! I put a pan from the stove on one and won't be doing that again.
