    Default inserting serger needles

    hi quilters--

    i am having s serious problem inserting my sergers needles---i have a janome my lock 204d---i've tried putting new needles in but they keep bumping the top of the lower loop--tried inserting them by slanting and straigtening them also---can't figure out what i'm doing wrong----does anybody have any suggestions please---

    at Joann fabric they have a "machine needle inserter & threader "by Dritz it work great Sku is 072879271621

    Are they the correct needles for your machine?

    I've seen needle inserter for sergers. No fingers in your way.

    Make sure the needle carrier is as high as possible and the foot is down...that helps alot! Linda

    Thank goodness someone posted about this!! I have a Singer Serger and I have never had to replace the needle until now. I couldn't get that darn thing in there to save my soul!!! I'm going to look into that little gadget that will help me!

    thank you everyone for your much needed advice-i'm gonna try one of those needle inserters----i had to order one online and i'm still waiting for it to arrive---thanx again!

    Wow .. I had no idea .. a needle inserter ..!! ... Thanks so much for posting this... It took me forever to change out my needle(s).
