Default Inspiration from the bottom of the sink

Quilters do find inspiration everywhere. Just finished my daily grapefruit and was about to push the peelings down the disposal when I noticed how gorgeous they looked mingled with the celery trimmings from earlier today. My first thought was how cheerful that combo would be in a quilt. So, I guess inspiration only stops when you get to the garbage disposal and you can't see any further!

LOL - inspiration is inspiration - no matter where from.

Recently, I asked a co-passenger in the train if I could take a picture of his tie, because the colors inspired me to make a quilt. He happily obliged :-)

Grapefruit and celery sounds like a great color-combo!

I have the Bing search engine and I'm amazed at how many days I see quilty and/or FMQ-ey patterns in their daily picture.

I had a fortune cookie once that said I found beauty in unusual places. That sure sounds like an unusual place! And it does sound like it could be a lovely color combo.
