Default Inspired by Tartan....but which way to go?

I have been playing with this crayon quilt that is inspired by Tartan's crayon quilt. I have decided on six crayons, where hers has seven, but otherwise it is pretty much the same quilt...

I have it up on my design wall two different ways. One has the crayons all pointing the same way and the other has them alternating directions.

Which way would you do them? (The yellow crayon appears MUCH lighter than it really is....)

    Thanks for any input.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. Makes it look more like a quilt.... I am making this as a charity quilt, and I do want it too look good.

I like them all one direction because that's always how I put them back in the box.

Me, too! Of course, that could just be my OCD talking.

They both look great!! Decisions, decisions... maybe think about how you want to quilt them?

if you alternate, the quilt is right side up two ways instead of one.

I like to think outside the "box" so I like alternately AND makes it the same either way!!!!
