    I have the Fiskar's and the Olfa rotating mats, two are square and one is a large rectangle. I have used the Brooklyn Revolver and it much better then the ones I have. If I was still cutting a lot I'd have it.

    great tip. Thanx. I thought I just HAD to have one, but if you guys are not using them, then its probably not the best investment. Better off with two regular boards, and spend more on fabric

    I've been using two mats on top of each other for a long time..

    One of gals had her revolving one at a workday and I used it and thought, humm.. nice.. later when I saw the price and went home with my money in my pocket.. I like my two mat set up even more..

    Its been mentioned, but using two mats gives me much more room for cutting.. especially when I'm doing a gob of strips into squares!

    I'm fortunate to have several sizes of mats. Just lay your block to be cut on the needed size, pick a larger size mat for underneath. You can turn the top mat as you cut. Easy-peasy.

    I glued an old cutting mat onto a lazy susan i found at a garage sale then trimmed to fit work well for squaring up.

    I have thought of doing that with the lazy Susan, how smooth were you able to get the edges of the mat, I was afraid it would be sharp.
