Default Instructions for Making an Ironing Surface

Can someone lead me to instructions for making an ironing surface? I want it to measure about 24" x 24". I would like a supply list as part of the instructions.

I made a portable ironing mat (like a very large potholder) and I absolutely adore it! On the plus side, it doesn't weigh much or take up much space! (I'm rather space challenged in an old motorhome). I used cotton on one side, flannel on the other, Insul-brite & a Piece of W&N. It has no binding & I also used it to practice some free-motion. It's pretty and useful.
