Does anyone have the Jan/Feb 2007 issue of For the Love of Quilting with the instructions and yardage info needed to make the Basketweave Baby quilt? Fons & Porter said access was on their website but when I went to it, all I got was the message that it was featured in the Jan/Feb 2007 issue of their magazine. When I went to purchase the magazine on their back issue page, all they had was the March/April 2007 issue available. Does anyone have that issue and would be willing to email me the yardage & instructions? I do have the segment to watch on QNNTV but they don't give the yardage.
Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Thank you so much for finding this pattern for me. I've printed the instructions to it just in case dizzy can't send me the scanned version from her magazine. The pattern from For The Love of Quilting is a little more elaborate than the one you found. It could be that they 'calmed it down' so that it would be easier for any quilters who were going to make one for the Linus Project. If dizzy does scan it and the picture shows clear enough, you will see why I love it. I will definately be a true 'quilter' if I can put it together correctly, and still have all my hair left....
Thanks again for your help.

Thanks so much for finding it. There isn't a great hurry to have it so don't rush getting the scanner set up. What do you think of the pattern? Am I nuts for trying to tackle one like that, or have you read the instructions yet? I'm certainly glad some ladies keep their quilting magazines that far back. I have close to 130 now, lost count since I've gotten several new issues this month plus a number of them at garage sales that I haven't added to my record-book yet. I won't make the mistake my husband made when he sold his collection of RC and model train magazines several years ago at our sale. He's regretting it now like crazy.
Again, thank you for your help with this pattern.

Thanks! I'll do that if she can't. I'm so glad that I found this web-site because I know I'm going to have lots of questions to ask once I really get into the quilting mode.

I think I've found the perfect place to visit when I've got a problem or question. I was surprised at how quickly, and how many ladies have offered their help already.
