    Hi all,

I'm trying to make a little makeup pouch that is lined and has a zipper. There has to be a way to sew each side of the zipper in between the front and lining fabric. I've searched the tutorials on zippers, but couldn't find anything with lining. Does anyone know where to find such instructions?

    Thanks!

I have a cute little bag that I use for sewing groups. I'll send you a copy but it's incomplete as far as pictures go.

You'll need to PM me your email address. It's a pdf file that I can attach.

I make cosmetic bags with zippers. I just cut the outer fabic and lining the same size and treat the piece as one fabric when I put the zipper in. Sometimes I machine quilt the piece with thin batting (depending on the weight of the outer fabic). PM me and I'll mail you one of my bags.
