    Yes, pls. post pics of both and you'll get LOTS of opinions!

    Way to go Elle...I should have been finishing up the details on mine today but just don't feel like it. My grandmother passed away yesterday and I'm pretty bummed about the whole situation....weird family things. Maybe I'll do it later this week.

    My condolences (spelling?) on your grandmother's death. My heart feels your pain....

    Here are some pictures of what I unloaded on you a few posts ago...

    The quilt center is the dogwood tree with grass, the birdbath will go underneath the tree with (hopefully) an american goldfinch sitting on the birdbath and maybe one flying down to the birdbath. The word SPRING would go on the right side in the blank area.

    The other picture is the sample quilt of the dogwood applique. I could design a center using the applique patterns in the book.

    What do you think everyone??

    I think your tree is looking great. I'd say keep going but it is your quilt and you can see it. It is ultimately your decision.

    I say keep going with the tree. I think it is looking really pretty and will only get better with what you have in mind.
