Hi Terri, Glad you loved it, I was laughing while reading your post about drooling over it, hope you didnīt make it wet......

About that label, you wonīt love, love it when you try to write on the flippin thing. Its got a ribbed finish that material and is really hard not to make your writing wonky. So not for all those who get the label on my quilt ....write real slow....

Yes, I read in your letter, but it doesn't feel that way. I'll be careful!

Here's my block - I think. It's my first paper piecing effort. I wasn't anticipating the white square in the middle, and am less than happy with it, but am crossing my fingers that the five borders will draw attention away from the glaring white center square. Thoughts? I'm tough-skinned, so honesty is good. I could do a Plan B.

I know what you are saying, but I think that I would go ahead and send it if it were me,, never know how it will work out by the time it gets back to you...

    or, here is another idea

you can tea die it... that will tone it down a bit and still look really good..

    I like the blocks...

you could always cut out a few of the red flowers and applique them into the center white square - I honestly didn't notice it until you mentioned it - I was so taken with the blocks!

I think it is beautiful! If after getting all the borders...if the white still appears to stark for you -how about adding a touch of redwork or a simple applique?

Just MHO. Worth what you paid for it-nothing!
