Wow!!!! The centers that I've seen are fantastic! 2Doods, yours is beautiful!!! I'll have to admit...I'm getting a little intimidated and nervous because ALL of these are just sooo darn gorgeous!

2Doods, Your center block is beautiful. When I saw it my first reaction is OH NO! That block is coming to me and how can I possibly do it justice? What was I thinking to sign up for this and think I could possibly have anything to add to these beautiful blocks. OK, anyone else feeling this way? I'm guessing yes since I have been watching the comments coming through. I am really looking forward to this and am very excited to work on the blocks as they come. The hardest part is waiting for them to come. I even have fabric in mind.

Thank you for all the kind words :!:
I almost gave up on it and I was going to start a new one but DH convinced me to keep at it. I will say it is by NO means perfect and just don't look at the back!!!!!
There are a few sections that wouldn't cooperate so I had to take it in a nip and a tuck. More than once! My first Mariners Star and my first curved piecing. I added to the outside "frame" and I hope it will square up to be OK. tha pattern was for a 20 inch block.
Once all of you add your creativity I think it will be wonderful :!:
I am so excited and anxious to see all of your's

I mailed my center off to Texas today. It should arrive on Saturday.

I hope it finds warmer weather than we are having. The furnace is on and I am freezing! Rain on the way. My kids Halloween costumes always were planned around that.....cape, coat, umbrella, etc.

I'm looking forward to your package. It will be nice and warm here. It is in the high 70's - low 80's here. I'll take good care of it. I was wondering what I would work on this weekend.

Here she is. I still have one corner to finish then it be done :) The green check around it is only for contrast. The cream edges sort of disappeared on the design board so I stuck on some pieces of binding I had cut for another quilt to make the center stand out.

Now to figure out a label.......
ok this is too cool! put 2doods center (on pg 28 ) in the middle of your screen, left click and hold down that slider bar on the right side that moves the page up and down and wiggle the screen up and down real fast. It looks like her star is moving! optical illusion!
