I bought a roll of Invisigrip. I really like it for holding my ruler in place. I have a lot of trouble removing the backing. Does anyone have a tip on how to do it? Some times it comes off great. Other times I can not get the back started to come off.

When I can't get backing off of some thing, I fold a tiny corner. If the paper is the stiffer of the two, fold it paper on the outside. If the product is stiffer than the paper, fold it product side out.
Once folded , it will try to go back to it's original position and the stiffer side will usually pop up first.

Yes, also have you noticed that 'It'(Invisigrip) stops working after awhile and your ruler starts to slip again? I have! Finaly started keeping a package of baby wipes in my sewing room and when my 'rulers' start to slip I wash them down and No slip! water works too but baby wipes are faster 8-)

try using a pin to lift up the backing so you cantake it off. I tought my DH how to do this because he would call me to the garage to use my finger nails to seperate it

Gee, I bought Invisigrip and put it on and I don't think it works at all. It slips just like it wasn't there.

Try Nexcare Flexible Clear Tape. I taped this on a very narrow ruler and it works like a charm. No slipping at all.

Thanks for the wipes idea. I carry them in my trailer. They are great for washing underarms. No smelly wash cloth and my deoderant lasts longer. Now I'll keep them in the sewing room too.
I also stopped getting Quilting Board e-mails. I was only reading and not replying. Maybe this will get mine started again.
I tried bending the corner of Invesagrip and it didn't help. When I used a pin I tore a hole in it. Then I went to other end of the roll and it worked fine. Now I peel back more than I want, so next time it is started.
