I stopped at the fabric store to buy some embroidery floss and inquire about getting my scissors sharpened - fleece season is here.

The clerk sold me a product called Invisigrip - a clear mat the adheres to the bottom of the ruler to help with slipping. She says, even better, it keeps the markings on the ruler from wearing off.

    Any thoughts?

I need to have my children buy me some gift certificates. The recipient gets 15% off at time of redemption on any gift certificate sold from now to Dec 22nd.

This is the stuff I bought and didn't use for the longest time because I was "saving" it...I finally smacked myself upside the head and put it on my ruler I was having trouble controlling...and it instantly solved the problem. Well worth the money for me. =)

I have this on most of my rulers, and oh boy can I tell when I'm using one without it, it slips much easier!
