My new iPad isn't compatible with my old (but very nice) printer. I was told to email the pattern to myself & then print it from my computer command. For uploading from iPad to the Mac, save the page to iBooks, then open it (may be a .pdf file) and when you view it, note the 'send' square & use that to email it to yourself on your computer for printing. Also, set the sync options in iTunes when you have the iPad connected for charging to where items are automatically transferred between iPad & Mac.

There's an app for printing but I didn't buy it because if I really need to print I'll just use the computer.

Oh, there's an app for that too. On another forum I'm on, they are always uploading screen shots from the game to the forum. I'll find out and let you know too! It would be great to upload pics here too!

I just love my i-pad. It has everthing I need or want to travel. I have e-mail access, internet access, apps for games, news, weather, and books that are free and purchased and audio books. I also have down loaded lots of music CDs and use this to listen to at home and in my car and sewing room. I have patterns I have saved for use when I am sewing. Beside my sewing machines, this is my favorite electronic gadget.

I love my iPad. I have been making quilted Christmas decorations and put the directions on my iPad including the detailed pictures, set it up on my sewing table and go to work. Also, I have subscribed to Pons&Porter magazine and beside getting the actual magazine, I have access to download it to my iPad earlier than the actual magazine comes and took it with me to the doctor's office and had my on magazine instead of Field and Stream.

there are lots of alternatives if you cant afford the ipad itself my hubby boughtthe acer iconia tab at walmart and it has more storage and you can even add a storage card to it and it has all the games/apps you could want at half the price of an ipad. my mil has a toshiba thats really nice too although im not as familiar with price, storage and options on it.
