I saw gloves for 35.0 today (echo tech gloves), on The View, and of course I want to *now* figure out where to purchase the material that they use on the thumb and index finger - so people like my tons of nieces - can text or touch their iphone screens.

I know when Ive had on leather gloves, my 'touchpad' on my laptop won't work, so it's not leather :)

A friend of mine bought noth her and myself a pair of gloves from Walmart in feb( I think it was) just for this purpose. Theya re regular gloves with little silver finger pads on the thumb and
i ndex fingers. I think she said they were only 4.50 or so for each pair. So you might try looking in the 'accessories' area starting this fall and see if you can find some.
