    You can also buy iron cleaner in a tube at most sewing shops. Just a little dab of it works wonders I think it is made by Dritz. I would look, but still unpacking and haven't found everything yet.

    Yes, the iron off works great. I squeeze it onto an old cloth and with the iron hot just iron onto the cloth. Works really well. Toss the cloth and get back to your fun day.

    After getting an iron clean, ironing on a piece of wax paper helps give the sole plate a nice new finish.

    I use the glass cook stove top cleaner. It works great on cold irons.
