I'm trying to find some directions for making an ironing surface. Nancy Zieman has a table for purchase but being ever frugal{aka cheapskate!} I'd like to make one. I'd like the kind that fits on top of an ironing board with furring strips along the sides. If anyone has instructions I'd appreciate it. Thanks all. Have a good day.

I bought a pattern on ebay and my dad has made several for we girls that quilt. We changed it up a little and made it 24" wide. That is half a sheet of plywood so he could get two out of one sheet. Also I like it that it is a little bigger than a fat quarter when you press. I ordered a teflon type top from BoNash on the computer. I love my board.

Thank you everyone. My DH works at Lowe's so guess what I'll have him bringing home! I'll let you know how it turns out!
