Irons that Don't Weigh a Ton
I did a quick search of threads and didn't find a previous one with this topic.
I have tendonitis in my right arm every now and again (have currently had this for about a month and a half).
I find that my Oliso iron weighs a ton (was unable to find out on their site how much it weighs and I threw out the box about 3 years ago).
Can anyone suggest a hot iron that hopefully won't spit that doesn't weigh a ton? I'm looking for a full size iron and not a travel size, if possible.
I sincerely appreciate your help.

I have the Oliso too and it is heavy. I also have a Panasonic 360 cordless freestyle is small and very light. I really love it. It doesn't everything that the Oliso can't.

I got a cheapie one at Walmart for about $6, it's lightwt and doesn't spit, makes good steam. I always buy cheap
this way I can afford to get a new one every 3 yrs or so when the plate gets gooped up. It's light wt
to me and does a fabulous job.

I agree, no more $$$ irons for me. I buy them at Walmart in the $18-$25 range and use tap water in them. If they get dropped and stop working or start spitting, I go look for a new one. No I do not have an unlimited income; as a matter of fact, most would be shocked to learn what little I live on. But some tools are just worth having ones that work properly: blades, cutting mats, seam rippers, scissors, square up ruler, quality fabric, e.g.
