It may not make your heart sing, but this would sure make my granddaughter's eyes sparkle!

Save it. Maybe she'll have a girl next.

Meyert, I love your story, and who knows, your niece may have a girl the next time? My niece was expecting her first child. Wanting to be prepared, I made two quilts with this cute monkey print. One had a pink background and the other had a blue background. She had a cute little girl so the pink one was mailed to her. I put aside the blue one thinking it would go to a baby boy someday. Well, my niece had a baby boy two years later! What a delightful and happy coincidence!

From here it looks like you have a couple great choices. 1. Keep it for a grand baby girl, and hope you get one, or 2. Donate it to a local crisis pregnancy center, and let a woman who needs it, wrap it around her baby girl and bless the quilter who loved others enough to make it? Win-win.
